Nice looking Marines. Good to see you active again. Even if you're not using Epic rules, at least you're painting epic minis. 8)

It's always great to see those Heresy Era marines. 30k is imho way cooler than 40k^^

I'm keen to see more of those!

I'm also glad to see that Epic minis are being used with other rules too ... I think sometimes some are just wedded to the pletora of GW Epic rules iterations ... there are many other options out there ...

Hi!

This is true. I often like playing "epic" with ds2 or future war commander because I consider them better rule sets for tactical play than any GW iteration.

As far as rules go, there are indeed better options.

A small update mainly showing 2 of the finished banners and some commanders.
Image

The banners are not hand painted, they are decals. I wanted the 6mm banners to look like 28mm sized banners. So I designed some banners on the computer, reduced them to 6mm scale and printed them on decal paper.

This is what the banners looked like before printing.

Here is a shot of the labels in case anyone is interested

Audrey,

Fantastic stuff, banners are a treat and the infantry are fantastic, a lovely mix of figures. What's next on the painting table?

Cheers
Aaron

Beautiful work! I really like the idea of labeling the stands.
