Very nice - you've got yourself a nice set of terrain there!

Echoing the others, I love the design concept and execution.

So this "control tower" top can be replaced with an AA or Radar "top"; what other "tops" do you have in mind? Also, you call this a 'high tower' base - do you have any other bases in mind, and could they be integrated into a wall section . . . . .

Love the little dudes inside. I want to see a pic after the window fitters visit.

The other tower just ends at the first sill.

Both are meant to be stand-alone and will not fit in the wall.
But there is a special wall section with battlements of the same size, which can hold the same kind of "top".

Here is a picture of the three "tower types" (the wall type not based) with three different interchangeable "tops".

Love the detail. I got to have a guy with feet up too in my project.

Wa busy with other things, so that their wasn't much time for 3D printing.
One thing I tried was to do some rocks - the inspiration was Monument valley. The big rock looks a bit like an alien brain - so I painted the rocks grey instead of red - on the other hand a dead brain looks grey, doesn't it.
The base is made of the same material as the puzzlemats. The "stone part" are 3d printed.
The images were taken during a game.

The other things I printed ere some Ork buildings. I wanted to use them in the game, so I haven't added Orc glyphs and color bands.
The pictures were take during the same game.

Depending on how the light hits the bases, the edges seem to light. This is only really noticeable in the photographs. In real life the edges do not stand out that much.

Rocks aside, which look great. I'm really liking the Ork village, the central tower really great.

Yeah those ork buildings are superb. Any more photos of them? I'd love to see a close up/full view of that tower.

I made a half ton of various box shapes in anticipation but I could never get them too look good so abandoned the idea. This makes me want to go back to them.

The brain rock is also super cool!

I'm sorry I haven't any additional photographs at the moment, but there is a rendering of the tower.
It shows the asymmetry of the boxes.

That's a quicktime movie. If your browser doesn't show it, try downloading and opening with VLC or such.

Just read through the thread, too much awesomeness to comment on! Great job sir! I particular like the printed marines, Marauders and flight control tower. Amazing!

Thanks for the ork tower movie! Most helpful! I can watch it spin while I steal badly imitate the approximate shape! (its strangely relaxing!)

Thanks for the putting the photos up on your site too, I love the old style ork buildings and yours are top notch!
