You're going about this all wrong. You need three IG armies: one FW, one EA and one E40k.

I know..... that would be my ultimate aim, but I already tried and failed miserably at doing separate Iyanden, Biel-Tan, Ulthwe and Saim-Hann armies..... I just don't have it in me....

I already have this in the works as one of my several projects, to assemble ALL the craftworlds in suitable primarchload numbers of course. ;)

My aims were much more modest.... 3-4k for each craftworld, but then realised it made more sense to have 8-10k which can work as any (plus a separate 4k saim-hann army natch) that way I could paint them up as mymeara without issue..... and wouldn't have to get an entire new army when a new list was released....just need to track down an airbrush.....

I've never used an airbrush, but have heard many good things about using them.

How are your experiences with them painting 6mm?

I'll let you know when I try it out ;)

I want to do lots of semi-transparent layering for my mymeara tanks and fading from the blue/turquoise to green....reckon an airbrush will be the easiest way to achieve that, I've only ever seen guys of the calibre of Vaaish pull that kind of blending off with a brush and I am most definitely out of their league!!

I know.

It is a sad moment when you come to realise that you might not be able to collect 3k of each Eldar Craftworld (after 2 *IG, 2*Ork and 1*SM army), and sadder still when you have to accept that it is unlikely to happen unless you win lottery (which given that I don't buy a lottery ticket is fiarly astronomical odds!!).

Like you thinking of colour scheme that could use that is different from any of them common craftworlds thus allowing me to use (eventually) as any of the main Craftworlds.
