Hi everyone!

Quick preview! (ok, I know, I have to finish the Mechanical cruiser, and the space pharaohs, and the evil vessels... but this is cool, I promise!)

After the suggestion of a kind gentleman, I tried to model two vessels for the Galactic Police.

The Punishment class Rapid Response Cruiser, armed with prow torpedoes, dorsal siege cannons, side launch bays and side batteries:

And the Oppressor class Rapid Response Cruiser, armed with prow lances, dorsal siege cannons, and side launch bays:

What do you guys think?

Thanks guys!

The Galactic Police cruisers are 7.4 cm long, 2.5cm wide and 2.8 cm tall.... Comparable in size to the Elite Corps cruisers!

Hi guys!

Short update: I tried to model an alternative bridge for the Grand Barge; what do you think, better or worse?

Interesting

I could see myself sticking a large eagle or 8 pointed star on the front of that

Yeah, I had to remove... something... from there before making it sale-friendly :)

The "I" was meaning the buyers, not you ;D

BTW: GW doesn't own the eight pointed star, for the record. Not that you need to poke anyone about it but it's a common misconception.

Nice!! I've got a butt load of Zacs Light Cruisers and Escorts. Seeing a full sized Zeus style cruiser brings tears of joy to my eyes!

Awseome work Armand. I have long wanted to get some of Zac's work. This might just be the final push for me to do so.

Cheers

James

It was a super secret project!! ;)

Thank you guys, I'm glad you like it... I hope you still like my own ships, too, though! :D

As it's been a while since I posted something, here's something of a novelty :)

This is not a WIP, it's more of an idea I had after seeing in another forum talks about Horus' flagship, the Vengeful spirit...

Just out of curiosity, I tried to make a quick mockup based on the famous illustration; cruiser for scale!

It's definitely not going to become a production model, as it would cost in excess of 400 euros on Shapeways, but if I'll ever buy a 3d printer like the one brumbaer has, sooner or later it will become reality!

Hmm, this can become very insane. It's a bit of a tricky one though since these large models have a lot of details and such. Tricky thing is to get the shape right, whilst the general outline isn't so hard, it should be more than a mere cruiser but then 10 times bigger.

In the meantime, did you see this? Maybe ask him if you could use some of his photos on your Shapeways shop, it might increase your sales. :)

Here a painted pic of your stuff I found on his blog.

Hi everyone,

I'm still alive!

Sorry for the long absence, but work has occupied 100% of mi time lately! (Including a one week business trip to Libya :-\ )

Anyway, now I should have some more time to work on my models! In the meantime, I'd like to share some pictures of something completely different from my usual ships.

Some time ago, I bought a discounted Dystopian Wars Britannia landship to be used as a Capitol Imperialis (as I couldn't source one of the original models for the life of me); when I received it, though, I thought that it could benefit from being a bit taller, so I modeled an extension kit and printed it on shapeways!

I've made two versions to keep in tune with the netepic rules: one with a Volcano cannon (pictured) and one with a Behemoth cannon (not painted yet, basically a tri-barreled barrage gun).

What do you guys think? Would it be worth it to put it on shapeways?
