Yes there will be fliers coming up. Wave 8 will contain a mix of things for multiple races, and fliers may be included. If not there than soon. The Grud will be getting Super huge vehicles - I only removed the image because I am unsure as to which wave they will be in.

I love your minis! The Sectnid Mercenaries will be perfect as V'ah/Kafers for a 2300AD scenario I'm working on.

Ah. 2300AD. The nostalgia is palpable. Now I have to surf the internets in vain looking for hard SF spaceship models. Again.

It would be nice to see all gaps filled. Missing (or expensive) flyers, missing races (ratmen, toads, ...), missing floating obilisks and pyramids for Terminator robots-race, insect-race transports and tanks ...
For things that allready exist we can go to eBay...

The are probably the nicest 6mm minis in production! They look much crisper and cleaner in terms of the detailing, which should make them much easier to paint (and make look good). Getting ready to order my "space Ashigaru" and some Sisters this week.

What I'd really like to see is some "great coat and gas mask" type infantry as its a staple of many sci-fi games and always seems to be in high demand. With DKoK being such an infantry heavy list, it'd be great. I'd think one set of five pose infantry, perhaps one set of "artillery support" (maybe three loaders, spotter, commander) to use with all the heavy artillery they bring, and then a command pack (commissar, banner bearer, psyker, radio trooper, and officer) maybe a couple of others if really wanting to give us the full treatment (Engineers unit, heavy weapons teams) and we'd be off and running for some GREAT guard proxies that could be used for Steel Legion and Krieg. I don't think anything on the market currently compares to the quality of Deacon's work.

You're missing the boat .... Exodus Wars makes Great Coat and Gas mask guys ... with more to come ... http://www.exoduswars.com/Royal-Empire- ... ire+of+Man Don't see any need for deacon to re-invent the wheel ... I think making stuff that no one else makes is the way to go ... Again, Check out Exodus Wars Empire of Man Infantry, Heavy Weapons and Snipers http://www.exoduswars.com/Royal-Empire- ... ire+of+Man ... And as I said, Tom/Exodus Wars is going to make all you asked for and more ...

I've seen those (and it may just be the pictures/paint jobs) but they don't look nearly as good as what I see Deacon coming up with? Just one guys perspective though!

Maybe they look better in real life?

When will anything new (for Exodus Wars) be released by Tom at Exodus Wars? There are loads of impending releases that have been in hiatus for MANY months... Over and over again the answer is "soon."

I just emailed him about that ... I too need to add to my Exodus Empire of Man "Siege" troops, including HQs, Gun crews, Hoplon Mk.IIs, etc., etc. ... :-\

I feel the same way. Think EW need bigger better quality pistures.
Plus would need heavy weapons in 1 out of 2 stands.

I am glad that L4 likes them. But not for me.

Each to their own....

:)

Been waiting for royal empire command figures for what seems like forever, i've had the standard infantry sat in a box undercoated since they first came out. I like to have all figure types/poses before i make basing decisions.

It would be nice to have a steady trickle of new releases instead of nothing for months on end. A probable release schedule and listing would be greatly appreciated. :)

Cheers

Hello everyone,

We've been holding off on new releases as we are not happy with Shapeways FUD for prototyping. Our previous prototyper is no longer in business.

I've submitted test STLs for the new Legionnaires, Imperial Squires and the Cygnus Transport to a new prototyped who we've heard good things about. When we've tested the results and seen that they are up to the standard we are used to then we'll throw then into production.

I know it sounds like perfectionism but we are keen that our quality doesn't decline.

To avoid cluttering up Onslaught's Thread - I've posted a full update here:
