With the new sprue layouts, are the single-faction pledges still going to be as planned? I went in for a lot of humans, but don't really want many orks (or any really).

Yes, single faction pledges will be honoured.

It has been interesting to follow this uphill battle. Looking forward to the Epic conclusion.

Any update on the plastics?

Out of curiosity, how will the free spures be worked out now (for spending the £45/£90)

I had an update yesterday that was promising a view of samples over the coming weekend.

A wild test shot sprue appears!

We should have this sample sprue in our hands in a few days to evaluate for quality, after which we'll be able to sign off on the full production run (contingent on the Skinnerz vehicle cut also being of acceptable quality, though it's of lower detail density than the human IFV so if the IFV is good enough, it should be too).

Look good.

Just for info. You realize that you have sent the message through the "... Wave 2" IGG site and not the one where it was founded? :)

Looking good mate although it's hard to see detail quality in the picture. Hope to have a hands on report from you soon.

Fingers crossed for acceptable quality and the go ahead for mass production.

Hey Ben

Thanks for all the updates we're getting about the casting process. It's good to know we're almost there, and I am looking forward to receiving the lovely miniatures. Are the metal add-ons fitting in well with the plastic models?

Can I echo an earlier question about the Free sprues for meeting the £8000 and then £9000 stretch goals? At the time of funding, it was one large sprue of 56 infantry and 4 vehicles, but now it is a smaller half size sprue. Will people receive 2 sets of the new sprue if they funded £45, or 4 sets to match the original intended amount of models?

Finally a question regarding the store once all the models have been cast and dispatched: Will metal models/parts be available in smaller quantities than those that were on the kickstarter?

For example will we be able to buy small amounts of Biker leaders to lead squads of the more regular sized bikers? Or single metal turrets for the Human APCs/alien trukks, if we want squad sizes that aren't multiples of 4?

Keep up the good work dude. It's almost there!

Chris

Yep, I'm painting some samples to show off, but I've tested the fits and they're good.

We will match the original intended amount of models.

Possibly, depending on how they're cast (some sets are cast in fixed ratios, some are less problematic to sell individually).

Hi Ben,

Any realistic estimate on when we might truly have our items delivered? To be honest, although I understand the shipping cost issues that could gut your profits, I am frustrated by the metals (which include all of the most, to me, exciting items of interest) being held hostage by the seemingly endless delays waiting for the plastics. I, for one, vote for no more plastics - in part because I prefer metals, in part because of the costs to you to make the moulds, and in part because of the productions snafus.

Rob

Metals are not held hostage, the stand alone metals from crowdfunder 1 were all sent out long ago, if you haven't received yours, we'll send a second package. We're currently packing the metals from crowdfunder 2 for dispatch as well.

I'm currently estimating late this month for plastic and plastic/metal hybrid dispatches.

Let me know what you ordered that's not arrived.
