Yeah, I'm similar, but I'd like to see some more animated but fewer infantry myself. Maybe some without helmets too...?

The passengers won't be on the model - they are only there now to make sure the scale is correct.

Could there be optional passenger figures at all? :)

It's possible. Not sure though.

Work continues - manly on passenger seating section, side-rails and other random details. Moved the the gunner to the middle of the craft, as well as the main sail. Still haven't touched the cockpit.

I like this gunner position better than the original or the version mounted on the sail's front, but not as much as the under-chin mount.

I think the sail and gunner both need to be less upright. The gunner's seat should be more 'easy-rider' pose and less 'task chair'. And then the sail should be swept back so there's a nice elliptical arc described from the tip of the nose up over the canopy and gunner to the sail's highest point, rather than a mostly straight line like this version.

Yeah the new placement of the gunner is the best one so far.

I'm not so sure about the seats though. It seems to orderly for an army of raiders. Like they're riding a subway train.

Liking the seating, would love to see some padded leather detailing on them, would really help when painting them.

I slightly preferred the further back gunner, but it doesn't bother me too much either way. The gunner does look static though and it takes away from the speed of the vehicle. Could the gunner be in a leaning forward, knees back, pose similar to the riders on another company's evil elf jetbiker?

I'm not sure about the seats, they look like something off a fairground ride, could you re-think the look? Something quite different and practical for leaping off at a range of angles at high speed into combat would be good, not necessarily seats at all.

Also side-ways facing seats on an open vehicle moving extremely fast is impractical with the forward momentum, it would be too east for them to fly off. If you have seats perhaps have them face point halfway between the front and the side of the vehicle? The inside side of each seat would join to the middle in the same line and looked down on from above each side would look like a zig-zag, parallel with the direction of travel. At the moment I'm thinking I'd probably buy them but heavily convert the middle bit to be a railed platform instead.

I wouldn't want riders personally as their vehicles would be so fragile as there's no advantage and I'd have the riders on the ground all the time between moves. A strip of riders could look too static too unless done very well. Also, which riders in any case? I'd use this as the standard transport for 5 different types of rider and I imagine others would similarly.

how about having two flat panels instead, sideboards, they could hang onto straps like hanging off the side of a tram. it would also allow people to add stygians pretty easily from the existing infantryranges to make crew

I love how the seats look really comfortable and make me want to ride in one, but I agree they also don't look particularly practical and what Glyn and JTG say is probably a better idea...

As an alternative to seats you could have chains to hang onto, might fit better with Stygian theme.
