I saw that you're in Europe. Onslaught know has a European distributor in Steel Crown Productions so you can avoid customs.

You know that might be a good thing to put on the website that EU customers can buy from EW. I don't know if that's stealing food from your childrens mouths though ;)

Not sure about these guys, what's the thinking behind them? I like the overall style but there seems to be enough close combat style troops with huge choppers in this force already. How about giving them guns instead.

Quote from Stygian background "Some of their kind feature aspects of their foul god, the Viscera queen, such as insect-like pincers and deadly spines."
How about adding insect-like pincers to the helmet to make it more insect-like, befitting a guardsman.

As for the sword, I like the big sword over a gun.

I feel like you have ideas from two good miniatures concepts mixed together into one model.

As for guns vs melee, currently we have three melee troops: Stygian Succubi, Stygian Butchers, Stygian Carvers. There are two ranged troops: Stygian Hunters and Stygian Gargoyles. Stygian Slayers are hybrids armed with both a melee and a ranged weapon. Now, one issue I can see coming from this is going to be what rules are each unit going to have? In the craftworld eldar list, there's been a very long-standing problem with trying to keep a niche for each Aspect (scorpions vs warp spiders vs howling banshees). And two of these do actually have ranged options. In the shooting department, there's a little more room to distinguish between types. That's not just in E:A, Dirtside and most other 6mm games are similar in this respect.

So if there's to be a fourth assault unit, I'm interested to see what makes it different from the other three. (Don't forget that we also have commanders to consider, so it's possible that this unit's niche is command.) That difference will likely drive what kind of feedback you'll get.

How about this?

Image

Got rid of the cape, changed the weapon to a double-bladed staff incorporating a void burner.

These guys serve as the personal guard of the Stygian Military caste leaders. So they utilize more conventional weaponry and armor like the Hunters and Gargoyles rather than the diabolic powers used by the more zealous worshipers of the Stygian demon-queen.

There you go - the perfect look for the weapon. Without the cloak is best.
