Tim, how about we do 4k each of marines, and 1k of guard or thereabouts? I have 4 baneblades and 4 shadowswords as well as an arty company (3 manticores, 6 basilisks)

I'm also making some large clump foliage blast markers to use as artillery templates (mainly for photo ops)

I think I can put together 7.5k of Imperials by meshing a few different armies, even though several have been partially sold-off and their replacement units as-yet unpainted. I'll check.

Primarchs - up the player. If you are modelling one like that then just add it to a formation, otherwise just use a suitable stand as an upgrade and I'll bring some legion tokens to show them
Free primarchs is fine as I only suggested SC costing for them before

I can do 7.5k, that will be including some titans in the points though, maybe mixing in some DG/BL to get points up if daemons don't count for points.

Question: do the Primarchs count as DC2 for the purposes of assault attacks? i.e. do they get to attacks base and the ability to choose between FF and CC?

I don't think so no, they are infantry in all respects, they can just fail a save and survive

I'd say they attack CC&FF like normal infantry (no choice like a WE gets), but they would have two basic CC or FF attacks due to their DC2.

there are a few issues with this, they should all have reinforced armour, sanguinius and angron should have jump packs.... working on a new one, will upload shortly

well as long as we all agree, it's not my call by any stretch, I just tried to make them all a little different, but roughly equally good.... not sure if they should all have supreme commander either, guys like Dorn were tactical geniuses, but angron is more just a super berserker.....
