Camoflage or not to taste but it particularly makes sense to paint Stealth Suits the same colour as the base and or the scenery around the particular battlesuit (so one standing in a pile of rocks might be the grey tone, one in some shrubs the same shade of green, ect).

I agree to a point, but hey these are alien worlds and alien creatures, sometimes silly bright colours can actually be camoflage ;)

Don't let them get to you. Yes camo is realistic and any sensible military would do everything they can to make their units as invisible as possible. But this is a miniatures game and the point is to play with our cool toy soldiers. What's the point of using miniatures if you can't even see them during the game. May as well play with counters instead of miniatures. :P ;D

Camo is Cool !!!!!!! :gah :whistle

Who got Mountbatten Pink from the royal navy, where it didn't last too long on account of being great at dusk and dawn and terrible at any other time of day...

My Sept wore kilts, but only for day-to-day wear. In battle, we donned a full-length ball gown covered in sequins. The idea was to blind your opponent with luxury.

Which demonstrably worked, as long as your expectation was not concealment but inability to rangefind properly. Of course radar made that trick far less useful...

Back on topic, I have decided my own Tau are from O'kumei Sept - to save confusion. ;D

True it was not for concealment vs range occlusion but it was generally considered at best providing mixed results. However it sure as hell looks ace ;D I'd love to do an entire naval group painted up like that

Make sure you get some masking tape if you do. My freehand attempt on my dystopian Brits came out kind of meh (as long as we're throwing up random pics :P )
