It has had previous games vs marines and marine armour lists with 'mild' results. More to come however. :)

Too bad there is no Thunderhawk Gunship, no Thunderhawk Transporter. And what's the reasoning that there is no Warhound Titan? Surely they should be equally available.
I like the idea of the Marauder Heavy Bomber but fail to see why they shouldn't field regular Marauder bombers.

I for one would love to see more inclusive lists that does not take away iconic detachments/forces that the Imperial Fists have available on equally footing in the fluff anyways.
I hate to see those limitations, sorry.

(just MY opinion, that's all!)

(edit: I know that the EA lists like to include some stuff and remove other stuff and that my point of view is a bit controversial. I do stand by it though. I would love these lists to be a touch more inclusive. I don't think it would ruin the lists or the balance for Imp. Fists to have Thunderhawks as an option or regular Marauders or a Warhound, which is an iconic titan that many Epic Players collect. I for one am sad that the Imp. Fist list is so little inclusive. Even the Astartes one does not have rules for the Thunderhawk Transporter).

The list was made as a foot slogger force and to tackle the discussion of a Marine force without Warhounds and Thunderhawks. It pretty much is just a scenario list rather than a list to represent the IF as a whole.

In all honesty, including the transporters, thunderhawks and Warhounds, you would simply have a SM list with more toys to pick from. At a tournament level, 60% of the list would not be used in favour of 'bang for your buck'. In this format, you are pretty much forced to find the alternatives that are on offer - and hopefully they work ;)

I have had pretty average results myself however that is more lilkley due to the skill of the player than the list though...

The Heresy stuff from Forge World added in mobile support weapons - basically the Rapier (i.e. the tracked multiple lascannon) got Thudd Gun and Heavy Bolter variants.

I've been using them in the Heresy list, and will probably be upgrading the Apocypha of Skaros to match them (they're a bit better armed than Tarantulas, and so can cost a little more for not too many of them).

Thoughts on possible inclusion or replacement of Tarantulas with them?
