Alright, I already have 3 epic armies (SM, orks & tyranids) and I have decided I need(!) an imperial guard army. The list I have come up with has quite a few chimeras in and not only do I think the new release minis are over priced I also do not like them. ( I have always disliked the design). Does anyone know/use any other manufacturers APC/IFVs. I have looked at GHQ stuff but I am not sure how they will mix in size wise with Leman russ tanks, forge world basilisks, etc. BMPs might be the nearest match, any and all suggestions considered and welcomed Thanks

GZG has a bunch of great Sci-Fi 6mm. All kinds of AFVs, APCs, IFVs etc., etc. Generally speaking GHQ is a little too small, IMO. Plus with the selection of GZG AFVs ... you have a lot of choices. Get those troops mechanized !

I already own loads of GZG stuff and Ilove it. The epic stuff just has a different feel to it. I guess I wil bite the bullet and buy the FW stuff. (Even the p&p is cheaper, is a price rise due at FW?)

As far as I know all FW's prices have remained unchanged and consistant since they were set up...

I have all the F/W AFVs that they make! ?
ALSO try:
- Adler, - Days of Empire, - Brigade, and - Gladiator sites, too... just more options.
I like choices!

Hi!
No prices rises have been "rumored" for FW epic stuff.
Then again you may want to get some before they decide to get "frisky".

Tough call.
There are very few of us with enough Chimeras.
I convert Hellhound flame tanks into them. I bought a bunch on sale.

Quote (primarch @ 09 2004 Feb.,22:54) | You can never have ENOUGH chimeras.
My problem is trying to learn when to stop getting more..... | when after a game you have some left on the table which are not burning...
obvious really, you have enough!
but then again I am an Ork player

Between SM2, E40K and F/W, I have many. ?I don't plan on buying the E:A version unless it is different. ?But from the pics, they look just like the E40K type. ?We also use Gorgons in Mech formations ...

I have a bunch of the chimera variants from SM2 era as well- Chimmerax, Chimmerdon etc. They can add a punch to the otherwise cardboard teeth of your mounted mech formation.
