£1900 - a nice steady trickle of people coming on board :)

£1945 you mean, we've passed 85% funding!

great stuff E&C! claiming mine tomorrow. like the latest revision of the Alian vehicle, prefer the open cockpit idea with optional canvas or otherwise hood, like WW2 mico armour

Problem with the open hood idea is that it'd cost us the best part of £600 (so £1000+ in pre-orders) if there's going to be a (complex geometry) driver in there. I think it'd be better to spend that on getting an Alien Slave or Alien Leader (or five) onto the sprue at this stage?

Very happy for Troublemaker Games and the community that the initial funding is nearly completed! :)

With the good response, will this project lead to the production of the humans tank sprue and other things? If yes, with or without crowd funding?

I don't want to count chickens just yet, but I'd like to be able to put out a plastic tanks sprue, yep. Possibly with the same kind of Human/Alien split?
It would also take crowdfunding to get off the ground - Even a limited sprue with just 1 tank type (1 tank + 1 turret) would cost a couple of thousand pounds to set up.

For interest, here are the contributions we've had so far split up by day:

Day 1 - £45 (started at 9pm)
Day 2 - £689
Day 3 - £305
Day 4 - £323
Day 5 - £190
Day 6 - £194
Day 7 - £199
Day 8 - £0

We just need £300 more to guarantee the release of the first 6mm scifi plastic infantry in 15-20 years; I hope that day 9 can out-do day 8!

Once/if we cross the £2250 mark, I'll be opening up some metal stretch goals - A set of Alien Slaves is a lock, at least, and our major objective will be to get the bases off the sprue, of course.

My plan is to chuck something in the pot, but last panic purchasing from Grandma Wendy has cleaned me out this month... (and technically next month but can stretch things at that stage). Will add something near the end of the campaign, and if it looks like hitting the 3500 stretch goal I'll invest a bit more also.

I'm thinking of paying to have this banner put on Warseer. It seems to hit the basics pretty well...?

Click for animation.

Oh and yeah, I'd like these guys to be unlocked for Perking at £2250.

£10 + postage for 16 bases' worth of them (80 alien slaves) ?

How many sets would you be interested in?

(One of those poses could also be added to the plastic sprue if we hit enough pre-orders)

Do not use papyrus. It is only marginally better than comic sans or curlz MT in most situations :)

(As for what to use instead, pretty much any 'normal' legible typeface is better. … just don't change it to gill ultra bold, someone did that once when I recommended they avoid papyrus and I have yet to fully recover)

true :( but this is what every other person thinks who is trying to produce 'graphics' for their spa / yoga practice / crafts shop / egyptian themed thing / roman or greek themed thing (?!) / garden centre / book club / diet group / tea shop / etc :D
It's just one to avoid in general ;)
