Ya Das ist gut ... ! My father was a US Infantry SGT in the ETO during WW2, but now I'm glad the Germans are our allies.

Quote (Jimbo @ 06 2004 Feb.,22:31) | well...
you could ignore the rules...
or would that be too weird for you...
as L4 always says play what you want to play not what others want you too... | Technically - the army fluff for the moment should allow them.... I will just tell my opponent they are unarmoured and batter him with an escrima stick if he argues
[I]The first contingent (500 points) is the Wurtbad household guard, Wurtbad being the official capitol of Stirland.
1 Captain, Full plate, Pistol, Hand Weapon, Shield 1 Captain, Full plate, Hand Weapon, Shield, BSB 20 Swordsmen, Hand weapon, shield, light armour > Detachment of 10 Archers, Bows 1 Cannon - Pride of Wurtbad (See even rural states can be modern).
The second contingent will be from the College of Earth, the elementalist college from within Stirland and will provide magical support.
The third contingent is a Sylvanian force (Sylvania was annexed by Stirland in the aftermath of the Vampire Wars) so think a ragged low tech force, with heavy vampire influences, the leader is a vampire - but counts as an elector count for game play reasons (He is a relatively young vamp biding his time and growing his strength.)
The entire army will be painted in Stirland colours - green/yellow.

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!
The Internet Cafe had the FTP protocol blocked. Looks like I'll have to upload this stuff from my school.
This means a week delay...
On other note, this time positive, I finished my Chaplain, Raziel his name. Very nice-looking, and I not only managed to (gasp) sculpt his skul-mask and some bits on the crozius, but gave him a really cool paint scheme. Black contrasts nicely with a desert-style base.

I meant to mention these two the other day but clean forgot. Last Sunday I did some more random LotR painting, knocking out Eowyn & Gimli in an evening - They're certainly not competition pieces, but I was dead pleased with the speed they came to this standard in a relaxed evenings painting!
Images were posted to black Orc & can be seen: Eowyn Gimli
They'll be added to the Mercenary Brush website this weekend along with more LoTR shots & shots of my first round of commissions for Fanatic - the same pics as were shown here, but now with the storm troopers un-masked

Nice paint job in particular on Eowin's hair. It looks really "alive". Looking forward to the Storm Troopers. The pics in the rule book arn't very good.
Cheers!

Cheers! | Well, my own pictures were taken in somewhat of a hurry (the models were part of a batch completed in a 12 hour turnaround), but they're now up on my site (see sig).
Hope you enjoy....

Generally on Valentines Day you get flowers, chocolates, and other romantic stuff!
I got a boxed set of WH40K Grey Knights! Okay so not very romantic, but what a present!
So tonight I will be making them up.
There are five Grey Knights in the boxed set, including one Justicar and one Knight with incinerator.
Two of these may well end up as the crew of my Grey Knights Landspeeder.

The grey knight are great models.
I, however, bought themn to use as rubric terminators for my thousand sons, and they are perfect for it.

Did manage to paint most of a tactical squad tho!
It is painted to a basic standard, could do with a hand figuring out where to go from here tho....
