Yeah, that'd be interesting, even if you don't have a digicam, tell us how you made them anyway.. Did you use existing Epic models, or are they complete scratch-builds? ???

And how big are they compared to the metal models?

Cheers

..Yeah an important one Chris.. all the Epic T-hawks are really far too small to carry what they are supposed to... :L

Thats why I just won't buy them. I have one, but I'll probably destroy it to make scenery.

And that is why I want a "realistic" sized FW one.

Cheers

Chris

..I wouldn't destroy it, just use it to kinda add "nostalgia value" to your army when (hopefully) a new and better one comes out.. :D

Wow, I did not think I'd generate such interest.  However I don't have a digi-camera, my friend does, so there's an option I've mentioned before.  Anyway, they (I made 2) are a little bigger than the T/hawk 1.  I got 2 upper superstructures of Battle Tech Mechs from someone's bitz box. Put a small turret from the Baneblade Mk.1 on top. And added some rockets from 1/72nd scale artillery models on each the side of the hull.  We jokingly call them "Thunder Ducks", because of their general shape :D.  Mounted them on flying bases, they use the rules for the Thunderhawk 1 & 2. We only let 2 stands be carried by these aircraft and 4 stands by the T/hawk 3.  That's a little more reasonable based on their relative size.  I was a Rifle Plt. Ldr. & Air Ops Officer in the 101, a long time ago, so I have a pretty good idea of how many troops you can cram in a "bird"  ...
