Noticed there are no events in Scotland. Is anyone aware of any groups of Epic players north of the border, specifically in or around Glasgow?

For those of you who have read Triple Helix announcement that they are ceasing to operate as a venue - I've spoken to them and they will still honour the EpicUK booking so Counterattack will still take place in Westbury on June 22nd

just thought I'd mention that Giftsforgeeks/tabletop tyrant has recently expanded their store, they've now got at least eight 6'x4' tables, possibly a couple more, is it worth my while enquiring about use as a possible venue? it's located in leicester which is a good 30-40 miles closer to london and the south west, right in the city centre and about 10 minutes walk from the train station and just round the corner from the bus station

they also order specialist games stuff at 5% off..... they may offer more if we can guarantee a full turnout

just an option, should anything untoward happen to any other midlands venues.....

Can we get an update on the expo? What are the costs etc, does the epic uk registration fee include the entrance fee, and what are the details of the discounted hotel rate?

Yes it is, tickets should be on sale end of March.

Tickets for the tournament are £16, I'll check if that includes Expo ticket. If not then it will £16 for the tournament and £14 for the Expo so £30 total

Also we have got prize sponsorship from Exodus Wars who have very kindly donated a huge array of models

Oh, just noticed Open War seems to have dropped off the events calendar - is that no longer on?

I was hoping for another one of those nice glass trophies to go with the collection

What you can't see it? Oh well you can't book a place then

OW has been called off from this April due to possible problems. Epic-UK are looking into arranging a quick substitute, but this will be at a different venue to normal.

Cool, I'll keep the calendar open for April then hopefully it won't be on the 6/7th though as I've been suckered into a 40k event somehow...
