Ok, new idea... would you be up for trading that lot for the new style metal baneblade at all? the only reason I asked about the orks was because I'm quite keen to start stockpiling them for whenever I get round to doing an army full of 'em but they're low priority, current project is imperial guard so the baneblade would be more useful at this point!

Yeah, works for me! i'll gather the bits of it. it's undercoated and basecoated catachan green, but it's thin, to the point i wouldn't even bother stripping it.

Here's a pic. It's in bits at the mo as i had vague intent of turning it into a fellblade, but decided a shadowsword i had was probably a better starting point. other than that, i think it's all good.




Oh, and in a little while once a trade gets here i should have these available




As an aside, can anyone tell me what the stuff in the second pic is? i know they're epic, and at least some is buildings stuff, but i seriously have no idea. pretty huge trade, he just threw whatever epic things he had at me.

Oh, and some of these, i don't need more than a couple of them, obviously they're a bit battered but nowt that can't be repaired easy, i would if i didn't hate the idea of having a shitload of identical knights



The buildings'll probably go on ebay at some point cos i could really use the money, but i figured i'd chuck them up here first, give first dibs!



My major want right now is forumware malcadors/other vraks/oldschool-looking guard stuff, if anyone knows anyone that might have some spare, be happy to pay a fair bit or trade in favour of them. Forge World goodies (even the stuff that's still in production, I.E. thunderbolts) wouldn't go amiss either.

Should be getting a frankly ridiculously good load of epic a friend of mine is posting down in a couple of days, box full of stuff. many, many marine plastics of all infantry, bunch of imperial guard detachment sprues, plus two complete with box, all valhallan guard, many, many metal marine tanks (Think all pre-current edition, may be mistaken though, will have to see. vindicators, predators, whatever.), 9 thunderhawks (!!!), box full of guard tanks (looked like a minimum of 6 super-heavies.), pair of the first warhounds, ton of bits and pieces of all sorts.

So yeah, more than i'm likely to ever use! probably chuck a bit up on ebay (Could use some quick cash, ha.) and potentially trade a bunch off for the more esoteric items i'm out for.

Oh, and a local friend of mine informed me he has an ordinatus armageddon, and possibly a capitol imperialis. Not sure what i'm going to do with those, kind of want them, but if i do get them off him i'll be open to offers i suppose.

Will update wants/needs once i get the box of goodies, just giving folks a heads up! it's been a good week for random finds.

So, uh, yeah. it's a start...

Only had time between bouts of alternately squeeing and having somewhat lurid thoughts to sort out/organise the guard vehicles, resulting in...



In the baggies, quick summary, got vindicators, predators, razorbacks, landspeeders, land raiders (all epic 40,000 era, not newest style.), dreadnoughts (new style), 9 Metal thunderhawks, ton of plastic marines of all sorts, rhinos e.t.c, bundles of both ruin types, and the blister of marine objectives.

Oh, and, those IG detachment boxes? they Are 3 detachments apiece.

I'll keep sorting through things and counting up what i have, then i'll take out what i want, but anything people want, you might as well go for it now and i'll take a look for ye.
There was also a little bundle of titan bits, but all stuff i wanted so that went straight in my titan bitz box.

Right! Tentative marine vehicle count made, and i've yoinked what i wanted from what i've counted.

5 Predator Destructors unassembled

6 thunderhawks (still have to check they're complete, but should be, i'll check them over as soon as i get a chance.)

plus the guard detachment stuff (Lots of interest there, so no idea how many sprues, if any, are actually available), and the 2 complete E40K marine vehicle sprues.

The guard stuff, i'm still undecided on what i want from it, so i'm iffy on doing deals for, say, all the chimeras, or whatnot, since i still have to decide on that. the basilisks, griffons, super heavies e.t.c. are definitely up for grabs though.

Oh, and so far, some of this is involved in trades that aren't resolved yet (so, so many PM's...), but poke me about anything you want and we'll see.

I'm getting to a point where i'm well catered for in regards to my wants, so that's being tweaked down to a few minor things, now it's mostly me trying to pay bills!
I'm reluctant to chuck things on ebay, as even though i know i'll probably get better prices, it's likely to go to some scalper or whatnot, and i'd rather sell/trade on here, and so as long as i get fair offers for, well, anything, it's all good.


Still have to count the marine characters/infantry, the bases, the ruins, e.t.c., decide what guard tanks i want, and whatnot. o_O
