Hoping to make it to as many as i can again this year, and will hopefully have some more of the Clapham crew along with me as well :)

With any luck i'll even be able to make it to the winter warmer this year with no warhammer nonsense hampering me up!

Will be looking forward to signing up for the upcoming events in 2013. Will hopefully make it to more than the two I attended in 2012.

So glad that Full Scale Assault, GT etc are still running up in Mansfield at Eye of the Storm. With all the rumours, news and 'hoo-ha' recently surrounding the problems with Maelstrom I thought the Mansfield Epic days would be numbered. Over the moon that they're up on the calender for 2013.

Will be at the upcoming tournament days with my Thousand sons, Biel-Tan or Ulthwe boys.

Wishing everyone luck at the Grand Tournament and looking forward to bumping into you guys in 2013.
All the best,Tim.

Maybe ^_^

Not sure if I am the right choice though, having started Epic just 4 months ago.

Are EUK tournaments always 3k+?
Was thinking about the Minigeddon format for a one day event within our gaming club the other day.

For it to count towards the EUK championship games have to be 2.5k minimum and 8 players must attend, EUK do support smaller tournaments however like the clapham crusade and cambridge events

Both Clapham and Cambridge did 2k 1 day events (3 games) this year, and was good fun! It would be nice to run a 1 or 2 day 3k+ Event in London, the major issue being a venue that will open early enough (Ours in Clapham is difficult before 10am for instance) and of course also come in at a reasonable price, not to mention the issues of getting sufficient players to London - the originally planned event for this year being cancelled due to numbers issues.

I'm surprised numbers are a problem, it might be far for a lot of people but it's still easy and quick to get to on the train. I guess the devil's in the detail, e.g. it's no good being in London but then another hour's journey from the national rail stations.

Mr Gonzo's club (mine!) is closer to rail stations (Euston and King's Cross). Does that help?
