It is a test dummy for a diorama (well actually two dioramas) that I have planned. One would be of some Plaguemarines and the head of a crashed warlord. The other is inspired by a picture from the Adeptus titanicus rulebook with some Adeptus Mechanicus arround the head of a Warlord in it's hangar. I plan to use some of the Inquisitorial henchmen + the excellent Forge World Titan Tech Priest for this one. Unfortunately my dioramas are usually very long in the making (I have some 10 i'm currently working on -only 2 ever actually finished) so It will probably be VERY llong before any pics become available
Cheers!

Quote (Warmaster Nice @ 30 2004 Jan.,04:22) | The other is inspired by a picture from the Adeptus titanicus rulebook with some Adeptus Mechanicus arround the head of a Warlord in it's hangar. | There was a really good diorama like this shown in the 1992 Fantasy Miniatures Book, which had been entered in Golden Demon.
If you havent seen it, I'll scan it for you when I get home next week.

Great stuff, Warmaster. The Nurgle titan looks disgusting, just as it should! Extremely well modelled corruption all over! I'd hate to be the poor IG grunt to face one like that.

The GD was originally an ork Stompa which got on my bad side one day so I used my magic powers and turned it into a frog...ahem, I mean Great Unclean One.

Well, I've been busy working on commissions & haven done all that much for myself.
Having said that, a random warmaster scale conversion did take place yesterday. I was working on some 6mm fantasy test pieces for a client & got bored. I had warmaster elves waiting to be worked on sitting beside me onthe bech so I picked up a mage & started to fiddle around with the same colours I was working with on the commission.
I quickly noted that the colours were all wrong & he looked more like he should be a necromancer. So did I decide to paint over him?
NO.. stupid idea....
Mid paint job I got out the knives & greenstuff & started converting, doing the best I could to leave the paint already present intact.
2 Epic SM Chaplain's lost their heads to replace the gems onthe staff with skulls & the hat got trimmed & greenstuffed into something vaguely resembling a classic "pointy wizard's hat". Painting will continue tonight & tomorrow & we'll see what happens ?

Hi all, am furiously trying to complete my 40K Legio Fausta SM for the local Feb. tournament (28-29) - have completed the force commander (a techmarine by another name - what else?) and have given a transfer (in more than one way!) to a Librarian on a bike I had once painted as a test piece. meanwhile. Pix up ONLY when I get the 1500 points complete: remaining - 7 marines and finishing touches to 4 vehicles (groan!). Also - have very hesitantly (in between marines) started painting a new BFG fleet - Imperial, and very, very small. I've started with (of all things) a transport.

Finished two converted Mk3 Warlords "Hrungner" and "Trym" which has been lying arround for ages. Adeptus Titanicus task Force Yggdrasil is complete.
Vanvlak: Looking forward to seeing that 40k army! The commander in particular sounds interesting
Cheers!

Nice titans! I like the way you are using Mk1 bitz to customise.

Nice Work!
I love a good Titan. Theres nothing like a big war engine to add character and complete an army!
