Hi!

WMN, could you get Tom the latest files, so he may update the link?

I don't have them either, so it would be good to get them available.

Thanks!

Primarch

Hi WMN,

could it be possible to have a "revision date" somewhere on the book ? Files are big, printing cost killers and it would be nice when you decide to print to have a note somewhere in the book that indicates if you have the last version.

Moreover, How to be sure that your opponent is using the last version ? A note would easily solve the problem.

I agree Scream. Hence my reluctance to update the files in the past. Having multiple versions in circulation only causes confusion - even if there's a time stamp or version number (ie. you got Tyranids v. 7.2 while I am using Marines 6.4 - but are those the latest versions of each list?). I greatly prefer few but significant updates to keep things simple. The original plan was just to do a single beta-upload and have that proof read, and let the book settle into it's final version. But because the project dragged on so long things got confusing.

The current update is just for a couple of days, because Primarch requested it, so no need to print anything unless you really have to. Once the final errata is in, the Gold books will be updated next week to their final version which will not be changed.

Any future updates will be to the regular NetEpic word files and/or an errata document, but the Gold books will not be changed (Well at least not in the next 5 years - and if any updates happpen by then, it will clearly be marked as NetEpic Gold 2.0. There's just way too much work involved if we were to do continuous adjustments to a complex layout like that)
