Legionaires done. I will leave basing them until the other infantry are done as well, so as to base them as one batch for consistency across the lava. One of them ended up with a power-sword as his chainsword appeared to have lost two teeth somewhere along the way.
12 stands of legionaires is not a formation – they are to be mixed in with 12 stands of berserkers from TOEG09 to make up 3 full Berserker retinues. The leftover pure berserker stands form '09 are then to be used as a bloodpack. Back in 2009 the WE list had pure berserkers formations, which have now been changed to half and half, these 12 legionair stands will bring my army into line with current rules. Points pricing done at half the cost of a full retinue:
½ World Eater Berzerker Retinue = 150 points
½ World Eater Berzerker Retinue = 150 points
½ World Eater Berzerker Retinue = 150 points
Upgrades – Transport: 4 × Land Raiders = 250 points
Monthly total = 700 pointsProbably do some sort of daemon engine combination next month.

They were done using press moulding. One scull was sculpted in green stuff on a stick. This was then pressed into super sculpy multiple times to create a many skulled negative. Once baked this sculpt was then use to take GS casts. The same method was used for my pile of skulls objective for the same army (and for the WIP tower of skulls SHT i never did anything with):
had planned to do 8 classic daemon engines, but i underestimated how long they would take to paint and overestimated how much time i'd have.
Still, 75pt is better than nothing
