Aiming to paint 1000 points of Guard / LatD every month of university term time. Army list ranges right across the Steel Legion, Baran and LatD lists with a healthy mix allowing me to use the same miniatures for the different lists. Mini's are all primed Army Painter Uniform Gray atm and the end colour scheme is going to be mostly badab black washed gray with dark green and dark red spot colours.

Gotta love Army Painter sprays for turning a huge amount of models grey/(insert colour here) in no time at all I used a lot of the Pure Red for my 40K Blood Angels but found that it came out really thick and tended to obscure details - is it an issue with Epic models?

I find that so long as your follow the instructions on the can you are fine with using it. Shake it hard for at least 3 minutes before use and start spraying from 20-30cm away, moving the spray quickly back and forth over the mdoels until you have an even coat. If you start too close, or dont move the spray fast enough then it can clog very fine detail.

I have used it on my epic eldar (crystal blue colour), epic Chaos (black) and on a WHFB Empire army (uniform gray again - I love it ). I have a can of pure red waiting for an epic SM army already....

Bristol is a bit far / expensive on the train. I was looking into doing the weekend at Manchester uni next year tho.
