Depending on the outcome, I might still want put my hands on an otterware model. :)

This one might be too small.

Experiment Nr.2 for this week failed...

I have bought lot of orkish infantry which were already glued to the long bases. They looked much too uniform. All alligned perfectly in a neat line. Wanted to remove them from the base.

I had two options. The glue was either superglue or plastic glue. It was not visible, only the bottoms were glued.

method 1: freezer
No effect.

method 2: Tesco Degreaser
Previously it worked like a charm on my 40K Ghazkull model. Eating the superglue perfectly.
No effect this time. Started to suspect that plastic glue was used.

method 3: debonder
Had no effect on the glue, but started to soften the base and the miniatures.

So, either I start cutting off some models or leave them as they are.

:(

if you don't mind cutting the bases up, you can often get them off by cutting the base next to the circular tab, then sliding a knife blade between the tab and base

I found that bending the bases into an arch shape helps loosen the models too

it's a ballache for sure, but probably not impossible!

cut base in half. glue two halves together along a long side. fill in missing corners with putty = mobs of random orks

This helps a lot old glue often breaks when bended

I still did not manage to do anything remarkable, but I just have to share this with you guys.

The marine player did not like the original landing craft, so he kitbashed his own.

yep, true.

Everything will get more detail.

In the meantime I managed to update my ork stat cards. Some corrections, some new units.

As it is .doc, it is easy to adapt it to any army.
