Quote (Mojarn Piett @ 27 2004 Jan.,06:19) | "Indeed" ? ?And I'd think it would come in handy to keep those pesky neighbors in line. Not to mention chucking their trespassing cats back to where they belong... ? ? |
Mojarn Piett! Heresy! Never speak fowl of the Emperor's Kittens! Or I'll set my brood (8) upon ye! One of them's a very fat tech-adept too. Then there's (heresy begets heresy!) the terrible 'kitten of Khorn' - beware her rampages.
Re women and war machines - my wife may not appreciate row upon row of cannon in a war museum, but she loved the trebuchet at Urquhart, and goes mad on castles.
Re catapult competitions - and a composite materials group, with a composites company, organised a competition for students with the aim of using composites for building a full scale working catapult. The prize? A trip to here, of all places..."where you can see the fortifications which in the past were besieged by war engines waffle waffle". That's how they put it: catapults and the like were NEVER used here, the only non-powder siege weapon known to have been used being a siege tower built by the Turks during the 1565 siege. On seeing the beast approach, the knight got their sappers to dig through the defensive walls, and at the last minute open a breach themselves; they reportedly pushed the muzzle of a cannon through, loaded it (according to some) with chain shot, and wrecked the tower to bits. In the confusion they dragged the cannon back in and refilled the breach.

So do we get to see pics of a cat with mechanodendrites?
Edit: And I see you have made sure I'll never visit. I'm VERY allergic to cats. Proximity to them causes someone to park a superheavy tanks on top of my lungs... Oh well, I'll just send the Grey Knights then to have a friendly chat with you about your accusations.

This then stops heaven from being filled up with cats and leaving no room for people)
Dogs are scarce in Vietnam too- I only saw one very nervous one

So Tas, if you're in Singapore and have an appendicectomy - you're headed for then? What if you lose your hair (in which case I'm done for)? Anyway, cats have their own heaven - I guess I'll be sent there, cleaning all the litter trays, when I die. Hope I get to take my mechadendrites.
Mojarn, cats don't really need mechadendrites - they've got claws - much more useful. Oh, and where do I send the Grey Knight bits? My blue-eyed Kitten of Khorne took them on single handed and made mincemeat of all three squads - yes, even the termies; AND the Land Raider. You might find some of the smaller parts used in my future Eldar conversions...I've got a full bitz box again!
