Hehe, Iyanden it is - i've been wanting to do them for ages, and finally got started on all those Wraithguard

Of course, there is a chance they won't be ready in time and i'll have to bring something else, but it would be nice to get them on the table, especially as the upgraded bases are looking i think quite a bit better than the originals! 2 hours or so per base does make it quite a challenge though, even with almost 3 months to get it done in...

Sounds like it'll be a treat to see

Here's a pic of the new stands compared to the old. The snow effect still isn't quite right, and i'm going to be testing using it on water effect stuff to see if it looks better, as it all looks great until the PVA dries!

Yeah,, the water effect stuff is what you want fella...if yuo need some I can pick it up from Cut and Thrust for you and bring some over to Westbury?

Looking forward to meeting everyone and playing a few games with my Ulthwé at Triple Helix tomorrow.

Sods law that I had all the time in the world (a couple of months) to buy/prepare and paint this Ulthwé army but only get round to painting within the last two weeks! Getting a Deja-Vu here as the same thing happened when preparing Biel-Tan for my first tournament (Full Scale Assault 2012).

Mental note for the next tournament to paint models bit by bit, week by week to avoid the last minute rush. Wow, that would be a dream to have everything painted with a week or two to go before a tournament. More time for beers! Why do I put myself though this madness?

Surely I can't be the only one who faces this stupid last minute painting frenzy when you've had months to prepare.

And I have entered events to force myself to get stuff done before now

Well I have joined the panic club as well - which might just make me even slower than usual tomorrow; so please, everyone, keep me going!
