You simply need to configure your webserver to react to requests without the www part as well. How you can achieve this depends on your webserver, e.g. for Apache you need to set a mod_rewrite rule.

Check here for a sample: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/misc/rewriteguide.html - see the section about "Canonical Hostnames".

Most hosting offers do this by default or offer you a control panel to do this.
