Quote (Tas @ 18 2004 Jan.,21:24) | I use Ancient wargaming as a break for my eyes as well, as use 15mm Figures. ?I really like the detailed ranges available without the expence of going to 25/28mm scale.
I predominantly use DBA & DBM which are very good rule sets. ?These rules are independant of figure scale and a base can be filled with figures of any scale- the rules state how many figures are recommended in scales ranging from 25 to 2mm! | Me too. I have just discovered both Warrior, and my favourite Vis Bellica. I also play in 15mm and I am assembling a number of forces right now including the Dacians and armies to refight Quadesh!
And, there are a number of force lists and rules for 'Historical Warmaster', some even linked off the main Warmaster site.

Hi!
The more I look around for 6mm rules, the more I realize I'll have to come up with them myself since I dont like much of what I see out there.

My Valkyries from Forgeworld arrived today.
They are really, really nice. There are seven parts to a model; the main hull, the rear twin-tail, a pair of landing struts/supports to go under both wings, a pair of fuel tanks to go under both wings, and landing gear that attaches to the rear strut under the fueslage.
They are big as expected. They are much larger than the SG Valkyrie, whic is dwarfed by the FW version (even more so than FW Baneblade vs SG Baneblade).
They are very well detailed like the 40k model. The sensor probe thingy is there on the nose, must be careful not to snap it off.
A very nice model. Very well detailed with minimal imperfections to clean up. I still like the SG version as it is really nice, but the FW Valkyrie is nicer.
