I'm pretty new to casting and I'm wondering how exactly the bronzes are made for investment casting.... are they cold-cast (bronze powder mixed with a resin) or actual solid bronze?
if it's the latter, I'm curious how it's done, anyone want to enlighten me?

My understanding is that they are solid bronze made using lost wax casting. The wax can be printed in a 3d printer. Then a mold is made around the wax, which is then fired to create a sort-of ceramic mold that the wax melts out of or burns off. The bronze is then cast into the mold, allowed the cool, then the mold is broken to retreave the final bronze part.
