Love the A-10 with lift fans. But that's mostly because I just love the A-10. I keep trying to figure out (more or less unsuccessfully) how to shoehorn the GHQ version into my Guard.

I found myself casting covetous glances at the Baron APC, which to me looks like a Dropship capabe of carrying a few small AFVs too.

And yes, I also find dropships in general mysteriously attractive...

Yep, that one is nice too.

I have been on the reaper website and cant even find half of these models.....also they seem to be in different scales too, its all very confusing.

All the aircrafts and tanks seems to be here: http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/R ... ly%20Depot

And you're right, there are several scales going on at once...

I accidentally clicked 'buy' on a couple of Barons and Borsig Spline Spiders. I'll post comparison shots when they arrive.

Steve,

If you are using the search on the Reaper website type in "True Scale" and all of these will come up. Some of the earlier ones were cast in the concept that the fylers should be a smaller scale than the ground units. I hate that idea. Based on feedback they "true scaled" up the old models and the new models were amde in true scale, 10mm for CAV.

The pictures I have shown here are comparisons of the true scale ones. The earlier ones I found where much smaller.

I hope that helps

Steve.

Got my Barons, here's the promised scale comparison pics.

At "infantry" scale, they look like personnel carriers; At "aircraft" scale, they look like they could fit a few tanks, too.

Agree on the bases; I'll wrap them in plasticard and landscape them. I like that they're metal, though, those models are heavy.

Don't know about that. Personally if anything looked Tau IMHO it'd be the Overlord Gunship.
