So there's just under two weeks to go at this point for the 11/30 deadline and I have received 17 submissions so far. Coupled with the fact that the Baccus, DRM, EW and MWG categories have yet to see a submission (and those are the guys who are providing the prizes) I'm wondering if people need an extension?

If we bump the deadline back to 12/11 that will give people a fair amount of time to finish up some projects. Thoughts?

I am unable to meet the current deadline, but i haven't really got anything to submit/work on in any case. If it were extended i would have one weekend to maybe do a single mini.
But that's just me and im more than happy to take a year out.

I'm hoping to do a lot of painting in December - so I might be able to submit something then. :)

It'd be Epic, though, so I'm not sure it helps. :P

I would say wait until december. It's not hurting anyone to wait a bit if a few more entries will show up.

Both of those can be entered MD. The former would also be in the running for the conversion prize.

hah hah hah. you mock me. your name is on the list...

I'll see what I can do.

EDITED to be slightly less threatening - my scratchbuilds are not really up to scrath, but they'll do for piece counters.

Extra time would help. Once I'm done with my 28mm Romans I have EW and DRM bits lined up. Had assumed I'd miss the deadline, but there's a small possibility with a little extra time :) But having not entered in many years, I mostly always enjoy looking through all the wonderful entries from everyone else, and the more the merrier on that basis :D

Given the yearly overlap with the UK Grand Tourney, I think shifting the deadline out a bit would help.

Personally, I've been locked up with work through Nov. With the holiday in that mix too, a mid-Dec deadline would make it easier to get an entry in. :)

Alright, let's move the deadline to 12/11 then in the hopes of getting some additional entries.

So... If I paint up four miniatures, one for each category, I could walk away with boxes of swag and prizes! ;D

You don't even have to paint it CS. Just rig the polls so all the votes go to your entries and you're set!
