Bright Stallions troupe :
Will it stay long enough in the Fir Iolarion E:A army list to allow me to test them, or will I have to wait the birth of an Exodite army ? :)

The Bright Stallions are the coolest Eldar Knight in my opinion, very unique. Nice stuff.

Those look great - it's too bad they aren't available anymore.

Nice swarm of Hornets. I cannot believe I missed those Stallions earlier. Lovely colour scheme you have, and really great bases as well.

About my bases, I've been advised to paint the side black.
What do you think ? Should I try ?

I would not go with black. It might produce unnecessary contrast and artificiality. Personally, I would use the darkest shade of gray you use on the base itself (assuming you use at least two colours) and go back after you are finished and slap on the sides. This would tie it to the base and still provide a "frame".
