Quick comment: Why make all new special rules? Reanimation Protocols and Eternity Gate aren't that different from the old Portal and Necron rules. If it's going to be a NetEA list I would think that using the same special rules as the old Necron list would be for the best.

edit: Scarab Replicator seems unnecessary complex as well, especially as only tomb spyders have it. Give the spiders a FF EA+1 Lance attack instead.

Necron Heavy Destroyers should probably be AT3+, same as they are now - there's a reason they were changed from 2xAT4+, and should be the same in both lists. Destroyers should be Skimmers as well, if the unit is identical as the old one stats should be the same. Is a Destroyer Lord needed? Can't it just be a Destroyer unit with a Lord character?

Other than that it looks good.

Well this isn't a Raiding Force or Tomb World Force á la Epic: Raiders (= previous Codex: Necrons) this is an army bound to conquer whole solar systems. Reinforcements are far away. So no quick phase out and re-deployment here.

I can understand some of the changes, like the different portal rule and so forth, but where you can be consistent you should be. Monolith stats for example, or the Necron rule instead of Regeneration Protocols. I'm going to have a read of the codex and give more opinions soon.

i agree that you should use unit stats from the raiders list.
also think that a warrior stand would have 5 flayers... and they do just 1 shot... why does monolith do 4 shots with his flux arc?

Good question. Actually i think that the Warriors shouldn't have a shooting attack at all.

If you want this to become more than just a fan list you'll need to adhere closer to the established stats.

Yea i know. At least i can try :D
But the Phaeron/Overlord/Lord will stay a unit i guess. After all it's the character plus his Lychguard and this way his CC EA isn't gone (The Staff of Light now is a shooting weapon only and the War Scythe a CC-weapon only).

As long as the name doesn't conflict and the fluff text mentions the Lychguard, I don't mind that.

Do warriors have a squad heavy weapon now, or are they still only armed with basic weapons?

Jup. Still a Bolter with a chance of a glancing hit against vehicles on an armour penetration roll of 6 (no auto-wound on Infantry models anymore). The four Gauss Flux Arcs of the Monolith are the same except that each is Heavy 3.

I love the idea of a new necron list and I hope yours turns out good. One thing I noticed on lots of the units is 15cm on things that (I*) would think to be 30cm. If your list is going to be less pahse in/out and more always on table, dont you think you might need some better range?

where did u get the army list format from? or is it just made up? I want to try my hand at SOME thing...

new necrons have access to troop transports, so no problem with mobility

Someone else did it for me and i just copy&paste the table :D No clue how he managed it to format it :)

And yes. Necrons are describetas an army which rely on shooting the c*** out of their enemies. Yet most of their weapons fire only at 24". Only the Heavy Gauss Cannon (36") as well as the Doomsday Cannon (72") have a range above 24".
