Quick and dirty question... is there any reason why some units have multiple assault weapons listed? (doubly so when one of the assault weapons in question grants a bonus like MW and the other doesn't) or is it purely for fluff reasons?

Taking khorne juggernauts as an example..

chain axe / assault weapon
teeth and claws / assault weapon / extra attack +1

is there something glaringly obvious I've missed in the rules or am I doing my usual trick of over analysing? :D

For assault weapons, it's just for fluff. Small arms count towards supression if within 15cm, though.

Exception is if they each list Extra Attack. A Biel-tan avatar gains 2 extra MW attacks, one from the wailing doom and one from the court of the young king.

Ah right, so if there is extra bonuses then they stack rather than picking one or the other (obviously unless it says 'OR' :))

Cheers!
