Sneaky element: perhaps there's a chance of an enemy formation joining your side at the start of the battle

That was suggested earlier in the thread, but it is too opponent specific, e.g. against necrons, do you really see them being infected?

I'm going to have lots of cool ideas like that in the scenarios in the suppliment, but I don't think it's appropriate for the GT scenario.

Agreed. Looks very promising. One question: This is pretty much the LatD approach to renegade guards/PDF. Have you considered Baran or other sources for units, to get a more rag-tag, lightly equipped rebel feeling? Again, this depends on how your story develops.

For instance, Siegfrieds, Platform artillery and AA, Buggy scouts.

Interesting thought, it could be more interesting than leman russ etc...

I also miss the "sneaky" element of a Cult uprising. Are you going to include scenarios to play around with?

Definitely, there will be several scenarios in the supplement, including several with sneaky special rules for the cult. Bear in mind though that this list represents a cult in a full uprising; a lower level of infiltration wouldn't make much sense in epic, as they wouldn't be fighting this size of pitch battle.

Hi zombo

From an initial look i really like it.

Just one question: why the civilian vehicle?

Would it not just make more sense to use the land transports that already exist?

The existing land transporters have a silly "heavy weapons: AP6+/AT6+" that I really dislike. Firstly I don't want any heavy weapon on these, since they're supposed to be civilian vehicles and undercover, and need to represent the silly old limos. Second, I've always hated the generic "heavy weapons" that LaTD get, that don't match the stats of any 40k weapon.

Other than the weapon they're identical.

I think it is to represent the guy looking out from the sunroof with a heavy weapon.

I prefer to look at it more as a truck with a heavy weapon on the back - used for both transport and firing.

For a unit whos points will not change with the addition, i really do not see a reason for the difference.

Cool.

I am in favour of non-armed transport. For some, these may be school buses and limos, but I am thinking trucks.

Points are flexible.

The main thing is that I really dislike the generic heavy weapons stat. It sticks out like a sore thumb; in all other imperial/chaos units they have specific weapons but for some reason the LatD get an ork-style generic weapon class for a couple of units. I don't want that in my list.

I've nothing against considering a heavy weapon on the vehicle, but it won't be that hybrid one the LatD get.

I've updated the Adeptus Ministorum list: http://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=86&t=17967.

Trying my hand at a bit of artwork for the supplement. It came out a lot better than I expected!

Very nice. What did you use to do it? Photoshop?

Micrografx Picture Publisher; it's an old photoshop ripoff that isn't even made any more, but I'm so used to using it.

The genestealers are rendered from my Project T model, then coloured and hit up with some effects to fit in.

Add a little more detail to the tallest towers?
Otherwise nice.
