So, I have decided to embark upon the perilous road of ToEG, and after a long attrition war between my closet Marines and Necrons, the winner is Chaos Lost and the Damned. The reason is that I have already begun this project, and having seen a lot of gorgeous Chaos threads lately, I have become inspired to get to grips with my own.

The next 6 months, I will try to paint my Khorne and Nurgle followers.

The idea of the army is a planetary insurgeon, divided between the four gods (two for now) as more and more followers are lured into open rebellion. However, the rebellion is carefully plotted and planned by various Renegade Legions. Therefore, I intend to run some parallell themes throughout the army.

Puppet Master: Sprinkled amongst the cultists, there will be Chaos Marines. Their presence will be stronger in command squads and in the handling of weapons that take military training and experience (like Fire Support etc).

Mutation: As the rebellion grows, the attention of the Chaos Gods spreads mutations and degeneration amongst the planet's population.

Daemonics: The Daemonic theme will be different from the Beast theme (mostly in slight colour variations)

I plan to start with Khorne, and the plan is to finish a couple of Covens, one or two Lords of Battles and some Defilers.

My intention is not to build a specific army list, but to paint enough troops to run 3K games with the option to pick different support formations and upgrades.

First month will be seeing a lot of infantry. My aim is 2 1/2 covens, or 16 cultists and 11 mutants. Since I have 6 cultists since before, that will give me three Khorne Covens to field.

Like my previous ones, they will consist of a mixture of DRM and GW miniatures. To make the force look suitably chaotic, I have done a lot of head swaps, mixing beast, cultist and old IG heads around. For weapons, I have opted for axes (or halberds) over swords and maces.

thats crazy converting!, I would be too scared to convert some thing that small due to it breaking.

Some neat conversions. Just echo the craziness of converting 6mm infantry- awesome!!
