What do you reckon guys?

I've a selection of four prototypes, what are your opinions? Do you like them? Which style do you prefer? How would you like to evolve this project?

We've got some cracking skirmish rules for competing squads of Mercenaries that we've been playtesting away in the background. At the moment we only have Legionnaire and Royal Empire armylists, but we aren't far off the Prefects joining the mix.

I like the cartoony stylings of Alpha, I can imagine it taking a great paint job.

They look nice. But I really have no use for them. :-\

Alpha looks wrong to me. Body shape looks like a girl with narrow hips, no bewbs and dwarf arms. Of course, if that was the look you were going for.........

Beta & Delta look more like actual future soldiers, I could see them on a table near me. I don't get the zig-zag ab plate on Charlie and it looks like he's had a bumectomy.

i'm not sure what the plate things to deltas right are. so i guess i prefer beta. but honestly i'd be pretty unlikely to buy any of them, i dont have a need, and they're not unique/pretty enough to overcome my massive bloated stockpile of 28mm.

Hopefully this 28mm foray won't slow down the releases of your 6mm product. Not to be negative but doesn't 28mm have some really great suppliers already, does the format need another?

Looks good, but it's the wrong scale for me.

They're not bad.

ie, if I had a use for them I would, especially if I could actually pass Alpha off as female. 28mm Future soldiers are very very common though. About the only unique role for these would be as Statues on a 6mm EW table.

What cost are they going to be?

No idea on cost I'm afraid, we'll continue to release 6mm on the 1st and 14th of every month. 28mm is a separate project to our 6mm endeavours.

I like them a lot, it's an interesting new perspective on the powered armour soldier. Like speyce muhreens crossed with Iron Man.

I saw these at Salute and I was impressed by both the designs and concept. I have been looking for a 28mm skirmish campaign game on and off for a while. Looking at the alternatives, we have Necromunda - SG and a great game, but unsupported, Star Mogul - an interesting game that I like a lot, but relatively simplistic, and a few others, but nothing with a fully developed campaign development system that has the background and whcih grabs me. I am really looking forward to this.

More 28mm Conscript WIP's, also in the blog are some of our 6mm WIP's.

Note the shotgun armed model will also be appearing in 6mm.
