If anyone is thinking of going to the CC to play Epic can you send your form in NOW!

As it stands there aren't enough players for it to run. I going to the weekend regardless but really don't want to have to play 40K!

How many are needed to make up the numbers?

To be honest I think it highly unlikely to run. Attendance overall is very low for the CC this year for multiple reasons.

Is there anyone else out there still sitting on the fence? There are three in TNG planning to go, but all faced with little dilemmas - one person doesn't have a backup system and is building their epic army for the CC, so if CC epic doesn't run, would probably jump to Open War (tbh, as would I - given my precarious constitution).

Alas, I can attend neither - which is a shame.

Skullric, If I were you I think I'd jump ship and go to open war. The core of the 8 or so people that said they were interested at full scale assault aren't going now so I really doubt Epic will reach 8 players.

Time to find out exactly what I put for my second choice!

Open War has 15 players so far, can anybody who wants to attend buy tickets by this Wednesday as after this unsold tickets will be transferred to 40k.

Just realised lists have to be sent in by yesterday after checking emails and getting a reminder from Epic-uk tournaments.
Have had to rush sending in a list.

does that mean that mere mortals like us may have a chance against an 'untried' list . . .

Unlikely it more means using a pick up list form a previous tournament.

True - possibly one of the downsides of having all those lists posted up by Meph. And now thanks to his excellent work, the lists are available by race which makes it too easy to pick some 'tried and tested' armies. Although I notice that you have a tendency to follow my example of trying out less usual formations and combinations (with much greater success I might add) which can still add some risk to this approach.
