Thats just silly. It amazes me what some things go for on ebay.

At the end of my auctions a couple of weeks back, Al the sprue sets sold for at least ?19.99, with the IG going for a whopping ?34.99. Thats almost 5 times the retail price!  I was only hoping to get my money back!! Anyway, this week, another set of 5 IG sprues from a good seller (Maelstrom) sold for about ?10. Weird.

Oh, and for those that are interested - everyone paid up on my auctions so no problems & lots of cash for Xmas  :D

Hi!

I have sometimes though if I sell my whole collection on ebay, I may wind up with enough money to "re-make" my collection again by cheaper means and have a lot of money left over.... :;):

Wow - I got two of those!
I have in a dim and distant past sold the odd model. Never again - I always find some use for them, even if it's just a conversion. and I'm too sentimental anyway. So Magnus 1 will lead my Tzeentchian troops in Epic, whilst Magnus 2 will reside in his comfortable (40K) Landraider, together with the Epic Landraider trundling out of the front hatch (a bit of Tzeentchian madness - I am now in a post-chaotic phase) :p

Yup, I just go one a month ago. I guess some people just don't look arround very hard before bidding on something...
...All the better for the sellers of course :;):

Cheers!

Thousand Sons Land Raider here.
You can't see Magnus, but he's lurking behind the Epic Land Raider. :;):

That final auction price for magnus is just god damn ridiculous!

Total stupiity! Horrible mini too! It isn't like this is the Capital Imperialis!

Still, nothing tops the Basilisk made from egg cartons and toilet paper rolls. That is the most precious thing ever.

Hi!

The thing is since GW doesn't promote epic very much, people dont have the foggiest idea what is or what isn't available. So they assume stuff on e-bay must be OOP and buy it at insane prices.
