Welcome to the Tactical Command Monthly Painting challenge 002.

This month's topic is to paint at least one miniature to the theme of "Fireworks!".
Apologies to our non-UK forumites who have no idea why November should be paired with gunpowder-based explosives!

The topic can be interpreted in any way you like, and can involve any scale of miniature painting (Or even 2d canvas painting, or house painting, etc!). As long as there's some paint involved, you can enter!

Post photos of your completed images in this thread, that way everybody's pictures will all be in the same place.

The deadline for completion of MPC-003 is Thursday the 30th of November...




And if noone else bothers entering this month, then despite the initial interest I think we can shut down the MPC after its lengthy and successful run. :-)

Best fireworks disply I've ever seen. A bunch of fireworks wired together by a lassi crazied teenager with too much explosive to hand. The crowd of course stands in and around the display. Its a bit like being in a festive barrage. Step out of the building into the sparks and flames from the fireworks being let off outside the front door. have rockets whizz past your head. See small children picking up the ones that have failed to fire properly. And join in the fun with a plastic bottle and a battery of rockets. Launch the first few and melt the bottle int eh darkness and then launch the next one straight into someones apartment. Then realise you are only white guy in crowd and easily recognisable and exit, stage right.

On a different note here is the excuse everyone needs to turn unneeded tank hulls into blast markers.

Wish I'd paid more attention and spotted the last one. I started putting paint to a Corvus Tormentor last night. She comes under the heading of "spooky".

Hmm, I have a week of holiday coming up front and back of the Crisis convention this weekend, so I *might* be able to do something to participate, no promises though as it`ll all depend a bit on how hectic the setup and break off will be of the venue

So, it looks like I'll be posting something on the 30th, and then this sub forum will be deleted, heh.
