Metallica, Metallica, Metallica, Metallica
err, and also general metal, mainly from the 80's (Iron Maiden, Ozzy etc) and also even some hair bands (Motley crue, Bon Jovi, Twisted sister).

I don't think music is too much of a bad shape these days, there are more and more 'real' bands starting to gain momentum.

I listen to a lot of different music when I paint:

- Classical (love Grieg)...

- A little pop (can't get away from the 80's - Pet Shop Boys... )...

- Some Klezmer (A Jewish traditional form.)...

- A lot of Russian music (like a guy named Okudzhava.)...

- A little Rock'n'roll (The Beatles, anyone?)...

- Some Spanish music (mostly Mexican.) ...

- Hebrew music at times...

- Paul Simon (I'm weird)...

- And who knows what else will tickle my fancy.

Man, I haven't been to a show in years. The last show I caught was one of those music festival type things. With a bunch of bands playing all day. Not usually my cup 'O' tea but, my sister had an extra ticket.  :blues:

My sister is a big fan of the Foo Fighters- while I think they are pretty good, Reel Big Fish would have to be the best band Signius saw.. :D

While most did a pretty good job, some didn't by the way, Social Distortion brought the house down. The crowd went psycho. A giant, ever growing, amoebic like pit developed. It looked like a cartoon. A large mass of people swirling with various debis flying out of it. Bottles, shoes, paper, shirts ect... It was funny as hell.  :p

When I went to see Nickelback, a woman in the front threw her bra on stage. Very amusing!! "Jesus Christ!!" shouts Chad Kroger (Lead singer Nickeback)

Also, the entire pit were smoking weed (pot, marijuana, ganga etc.), and their was a big cloud above the pit!!

Thought I'd throw in my 2 cents here as well.  By no means is this list the extent of what I listen to - some are favourites whereas others are more recognizable and may provide a hint as to my tastes.

Heavy:     Metallica, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Megadeth, and Tool.

Moderate:     Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Midnight Oil, Rage Against The Machine, Silverchair, Blind Melon, and The White Stripes.

Canadian:     The Tragically Hip, Our Lady Peace, Matthew Good, Headstones, 54/40, Sam Roberts, Moist, and the Barenaked Ladies.

I must apologize on behalf of myself and other like-minded Canadians:  It was not our intention to release Shania Twain and Celine Dion to the world.  We are unsure of what methods they are using to entrance millions of music lovers worldwide, but you have our word that we are working hard to put a stop to it.

Damn. I have a Moist album and have been looking everywhere for it on CD and anything else that they have done. DO you have a catalogue list for them, and are they still available somewhere?
