Hi all,

I'm not Building this week, so have decided that as a distraction from the fact I'm not earning anything, I'd try to upload at least one gallery or article to my site EVERY DAY.

Further to that, I am going to try and make sure that every gallery shows a different scale and /or genre to all the others put up.

Its a good theory at least.....

And I'm starting with epic... of course... O0

First up - a previously unseen (I think...) collection of epic Rhinos.... all is explained in the gallery...

Thanks for looking :)

Those are as fantastic as I'd expect.

Great to see one of the FW Marines painted up; I've still got mine on the sprue.

Thanks for the kind words.

The 6 part marines really were something special. I'm pleased to say I still have quite a few myself, awaiting conversion to add to my Space wolf force one day.... one day... ;)

I dont think it'll be often that I'll say that combination, but thats what I've updated today!

Day 3 of my Gallery a day, and I have two galleries updated.

First up, the main gallery for today is a Wicked Elf Fantasy Football team from Shadowforge miniatures.

But because that was only 8 measly pics, I've opened my 10mm ancients section too... with a gallery of a single model... yes, just one model, but he's one of my favourites :)

Thanks,a s ever, for looking. I wonder if I have enough pictures to take requests... lets try - What genre and / or scale shall I do tomorrow? :)

Cheers,
Paul.

Thanks L4 :)

Updates have been continuing - Yesterday I added a gallery from a 28mm Ultramodern Commission I did a few years ago and added a couple of WIP style pics to my own 6mm soviet gallery.

Today I've added a gallery from the 10mm Copplestone Fantasy Range (*cough* lord of the rings *cough cough*)

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Paul.

Hi all,

I've just updated my 6mm Soviets gallery with pics of some more of the armoured units in my collection.
http://hobbybrush.com/historical/6mmww2/6mmsoviets/

Let me know what you think. They need unit markings added, but I'm getting the bulk work done first before I indulge myself in details!

Looking at the 130 units I've just undercoated, I would hope there'll also be another update soon [;)]

Cheers,
Paul

Fantastic job on the Soviet armor. Too bad you didn't find anyone interested in playing Flames of War in 6mm. I might be more interested in playing if it were in 6mm.

Glad you like them guys. To be honest, I'm not too disappointed at my forced switch to BKC. It is a great set of rules, and I can only reccommend it. I dont get to do quite the sweeping scale I wanted to on the table with it, but its not going to stop the collection :)

80 more vehicles are now primed, basecoated, washed, drybrushed and bases sanded. Just the second drybrush, details, weathering and 5 stages of base-work to go before getting them in front of the camera... :D

TS I used to go to cornwall for a yearly week long WWII campaign game (each year different scenario, e.g. blitzkrieg into France, Kursk etc). mental amount of models with 60 guys in 2 teams. If you were, say, Russian you could easily cycle through a division a day with 1 stand = 1 platoon. And Each model used was unique, no recycling. So if a stand was out it went back in its box never to be seen again. Division gets combat ineffective, pull out a new box and away you go. Even army assets that were never on the table had their own models :)
