Had a quick play and there is a way to introduce ZOC's if you accept measuring from the center of the model and not the base.

Basically you add a Trait called Area of Effect with a radius of 111 per 5cm required. Best way to do this would probably be to add Prototype's for 5 and 10 ZOC's. WE will be an issue as only circles are available, but at least it gives you an base to work from.

Of course this is all theoretical as we know development of this mod ceased at someones request

Would not the bases need to become round?

If everything went on a round base it would make such a zoc possible.

It used the center point to measure from. Can't see a way to make it measure from the outer edge of the model. If everyone agreed to measure everything from the center then all would be consistent. WE and large models will cause issues.

Easy fix for objectives though.

I was trying to get back into Epic after taking some time off to get married etc. then I get sent to Berlin where I know no-one and therefore the only way I can get a game is via Vassal. However, I cannot find the epic module, the same as Mattausten86 earlier. Have they all been taken down at the request of GW?

Yes. The standard vassal is still availible, but the epic module is knocking around the web somewhere. Incidentally there are a bunch of German Epic players, have you contacted blacklegion for info?

I'm going to be online this saturday evening if any of you are sad enough to not be out pissed and instead being indoors on your computer. I'm in Germany so 1 hr ahead of UK time, if anyone would like to arrange. Bear in mind though that I'm a beginner with this Vassal thing, so would be looking at a 2000pt no WEs or flyers type go.

Also, the All Ireland Hurling final is on this Sunday afternoon, Kilkenny (going for their 5th in a row) vs Tipperary (who should have beaten them last year), so should be good. The game starts about 3.00ish UK time. Just in case anyone is interested. It's the greatest sport in the world.
