I still think they are 40k minis that get painted and then shrunk.

Back with a little BFG. I'm done with these except for sealing them tomorrow night although I may paint in the windows slit on top since it seems to stand out more than I had expected and change the side gold dots on the bridge to green. Seeing them next to the original armageddon cruisers I did makes me think I may need to dull out the gold a bit in the recesses. These are brown to match the typical color of my cruisers. I've included a family shot.

Very nice, very nice indeed. Did you paint the names yourself or are they printed material?

Cheers
Aaron

Thanks! No I didn't paint the names, I printed them out and attached a bit of a straight pin to the back so they attach to a magnet on the base. I'm still not entirely happy with the paint job, so I went back and painted the bridge gold to match more of the larger cruiser look. I still think I need to make a few more adjustments to the model before I like where it ends up later tonight.

The prows, and the entire light cruiser model outside of the WB are by a guy over on reason addict.

Fantastic ships Vaaish. I've always loved you BFG stuff.

Here's a LINK to a little more info on the Zeus Light Cruisers.

Cheers.

Thanks! I wasn't quite happy so I've made a slight update before submission. :) I've added in the adjustments to the bridge and underside. I think this helps balance things better.

So far anomynous...

heh. But two of these buggers (light cruisers) can be won in GothiComp 2010.
With a minor change I see.

Vaaish, I see you used normal weapon modules. The Mangozac versions not ready?
