I don't see why anyone should have a problem or concern. If we where playing a historical or game set in ancient rome, greece or viking times for example, I don't see why any Christians, Jews, etc would have any problem with references to Jupiter, Zeus or Woden as gods. It's academic, it's not is if anyone is making assertions.

We can view the Emperor, Nurgle and all the rest in the same 'academic' light. Nobody (sane) claims any reality to it.

Quite. Nobody's saying you should actually go out and worship a Reaver Titan, or an Ork Gargant.

Or, not seriously, at any rate.

Isn't Hastur Hastur Hastur quicker? When you're about to be Megaboltered, every second counts.

Yeah, exactly. It's laughable to select one item to be concerned about in the GW universe to the exclusion of all others. To be upset over the name "God Machines" yet ignore the countless references to the emperor as god and all the chaos gods and other alien godlike entities is just rediculous....

And with that I would like to ask us to stop discussing this topic.

This forum has a "no real world religions or politics" policy, and one that I think is a good one as it stops us from having flame wars (Which, for all they might start off as intellectual debates, soon descend into name-calling and comparisons to Hitler).

It was a valid point to raise, and the point has been answered. Stop stirring now please.

Gotta wait for Chroma on that one.

I don't suppose he'd mind if someone started spitballing ideas in the meantime, though.

I think its Eldar-ish.

But really if it is redone would it be better in its current setting or more like the AMTL where you buy every weapons/upgrades? And if so do we have other weapons that could be added to the Eldar Titan Armory?

Well, a sonic lance arm for the Revenant is an obvious choice. I was thinking that there probably ought to be at least one more weapon option for the Revenant, but I'm not sure what it should be. A CC arm is tempting, but would be a big departure from the past. I also think giving a Revenant a titan-class gun with more than a 45cm range might be abusive. So, I think a short-ranged TK/melta type gun would work well:

Fusion Lance 15cm MW3+ TK(1)
Sonic Lance 45cm BP2 ignore cover, disrupt

The Phantom titan weapon list should probably include both the PFist and the power-blade from the FW mock-up shown at UK GD. Plus, of course, the Dcannon, tremor cannon, and heat lance. I think the tremor cannon ought to be different than what is given is the back of swordwind, as they are nearly identical to the pulsars. Instead, I think a barrage capability would fill an empty niche in the titan weapon list.

Tremor cannon 60cm BP4 ignore cover, disrupt

I also think that the secondary weapon systems (ML for Revenant, twin MLs for phantoms) ought to have an option to swap for pulse lasers/twin-pulse lasers (based on the falcon weapon stats).

IMPERIAL ARMY LISTS:
Titan Legion
Skitarii PDF
Knights (Probably)
Attillan Imperial Guard
Generic (Steel Legion style) Imperial Guard (No new list required but they're in the story)

POSSIBLE LISTS:
A variant Marine list?
More variant Ork lists?

So I was thinking....I know don't hurt myself. Rest assured I took proper precautions before thinking.

Since the background has standard IG and there was discussion of having a SM I thought, Well how about the SARANES EXPANSE IMPERIAL CRUSADE ARMY LIST located in the NetEA Imperial Guard draft document.

So lists might be:

AMTL list
Skitarii PDF list
Knights list
IG/SM Crusade list

Possible extras:

Variant SM list (same chapter story wise as in the crusade list)
Attillan IG (Think E&C really wanted them?)

And the 3 or 4 Orks lists and Titan Eldar.

I'm not sure how many list we really want to try and squeeze in here. Raiders only had three? Right now were looking to 8-10? Is that too much?? Also how many did Siege have again?

I agree with your feeling Semajnollissor. I would like to see options just like the AMTL list.

For the Reverent I like both weapons. The Fusion more but why can't they have 4 options the Warhound does.

I like the weapons you mention for the Phantom and Warlock and possible some may need to be tweak to avoid redundancy. Hopefully will see what FW release for the Phantom model wise and stat wise.

Also I think Sema you may have to start work on that Gate of Vaul and some Space Elves Robot weapons sooner than later my friend. ;D ::)
