WMN and I are contemplating changes to the tail, but inspiration hasn't struck me in this regard.

Looking at it, the only thing I can think of is flaring the bottom of it into an upside down Y. That might necissitate moving the fan higher or something, not sure.

I was always a fan of the look of the Orca from C&C:

Perhaps the cargo pod should be a bit deeper? Or at least give it some feet so the poor thing can land without knocking off the gatling!

It's already got four little modules where the feet can extend out of so I don't see that being a problem.

It's still got the weapons hard points so it can perform a basic level of ground clearance prior to landing, however it'll be vulnerable when on the ground as it has no side or rear weapoins. Give it an escort chaps!

I was trying to think of a way of installing some kind of side mounted plasma guns but any thing else added to the side either obstructs the gyro intakes or slims down the transport module. One option would be to have weapon slits in the module itself letting the troops fire out? However if they are big enough to give the troops a decent field of view and to facilitate the Khazari's love of non-standard sized custom weaponary then they would remove a serious amount of protection from the poor buggers.

Ultimately, I'm happy with it like this and I like the armoured look but does anyone prefer weapon slits?

Also - weapon slits would be rubbish on the aerodynamics.
