Briefly, what kind of foot troops will a Knight army have?

The current list has Skitarii, and can be found here: viewtopic.php?f=22&t=18565

Thanks. Yeah that's how I pretty much remember it from last time I looked at it. Lot's of elite and professional units.
How about conscripted agri workers? They can be well trained of course but most of the time work the 'fields'
Basically the PDF

Also, I'd note that overall this project could be a good catalyst to bring some Ork lists that haven't seen development in a few years up-to-date and into line with the models released by FW over the last few years (Especially the WE Bommer, which could make an appearance in several lists, with just one statline rather than the several different statlines being used for various types of Bommers across different lists right now).

Probably wouldn't be up to the task as being fielded as part of a regular "Knightworld" army force, but could be seen in scenarios?

Scenarios or perhaps added on to the Skitarii list?

My personal preference would be for scenarios in the supplement, but if Morgan wanted them in the main list I wouldn't stop him.

Didn't the Crimson Fists swear vengeance on orks for virtually being wiped out by them?

They're also about as Codex-adherent as can be without being Ultramarines. Ie: Useful in the background story perhaps, but not useful as a variant Chapter list.

Alternatively, could come at it from the other direction and use a chapter with close ties to the Adeptus Mechaicus, such as the Iron Hands.

oh yeah, duh. I guess the only thing you could possibly work with there is the fact that they hate orks and are at half strength (still I believe) Don't think that's anything that can be translated into game terms though.

Same with Feral Worlds. Tehy are basically Stone Age level of tehcnology but aren't called Stone Age Worlds.

@E&C: For a Marine Chapter: How about Salamanders? They are THE Chapter if it comes to defending Imperial Citizens.

Salamanders is an Excellent choice. Especially since the salamaders list is pretty much poised and ready.

The feudal argument is not supposed to be continuing here. How about we step over herehttp://www.tacticalwargames.net/taccmd/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=18633

Oh yeah, so far we've had EPIC: RAIDERS and EPIC: SIEGE.

So this supplement needs a name. All I've come up with so far is EPIC: CLASH OF TITANS, which is just cheesetastic.
