I am painting some CAV models as proxies for Zuitik Bombers at the moment
but without beautiful scratchwork seen on Screams Squats

Using proxies from well known manufacturers is a bit iffy IP wise, but unless something better comes up we can use them for the web version. I need images in as high resolution as possible and as sharp and good lighting conditions as possible please

then what units do we use for the suggested stat line since there are no ironshield apc's or the other "new" tanks?

By all means feel free to use those models in your own armies. The tricky bit is just that since NetEpic uses GW IP it could be a problem if we openly advertise miniatures from other manufacturers in a printed book - even if that book is non-profit for the makers.
I'm a bit iffy about using models that are just stock models form other manufatrurers. Even though there's still an IP issue, I would feel a bit more comfortable if the miniatures displayed are at least a bit converted so they're not instantly recognizable as miniatures from another manufacturer.

That said, I do have my eyes on a few models that could be used - at least temporarily if we cannot find anything scratch built or converted to fit the bill. This has been done in a few other places in the books (but just don't tell anyone )

WMN, I had the feeling that at some point, some models were going to be very hard to get pics for, since people use non-GW models for some units (special squat units, slann, etc.).

I think the only outlet is some created image or illustration for those entries (CGI, Bans illustration, or whichever is available/we can get).

No worries if we can't get a painted conversion. A illustration will have to do in some cases.
