I'm glad that you're still in the game!
All the best with money stuff. Situation sucks.

I have a hat you can borrow... but good that you walked (?) away from that!

Something more mundane from this corner: some GZG Phalons (9 tanks, 5 scouts total), a batch of Germy's tripod walkers (also GZG - nice subs for Land Ironclads Martians), and some Pax Arcadia Scouts:

I was parked and not on "the road" when I was hit by a drunk driver doing 70mph. That was a brand new truck I was in. The other driver is a repeat DWI offender and already had a breathalyzer installed in his truck, for all the good that did. He is facing a felony charge now anyway but of course he had next to no insurance so yours truly gets to cover all the expenses out of pocket and through my insurance coverage (the other driver is a lost cause for purposes of suing also). I had to be life flighted from the scene, so that bill alone is over $18K; $42K for a totaled truck; and who knows how much the trauma center's bill is.

These guys have been sitting neglected for months, but getting near completion now!

This represents the paratrooper company with 3 combat platoons and command (bazooka and sniper options included). Also present is a parachute pak howitzer platoon and MG platoon with 8 .30 cal MG's.

Future additions will include engineers, AA platoon, anaother artillery battery, and armored recon jeeps.

Here is a secret surprise for Hitler!

Abrams tank by Matchbox that I picked up for my son, $4. Great for moderns, too bad they don't do WW2.

A friend painted these guys up for me. I intend to try out the Gutshot! rules with them. These are from Black Scorpion's Tombstone range:

These guys look much better in person than my meager pic skills can reflect:

I haven't sealed them yet due to rain and humidity conditions, but they played their first game today and were quite effective:

After digging through some old fantasy minis I was inspired to start painting some undead critters as part of a Lichemaster-themed warband.

Not having done much painting in 25mm+ recently, I figured I'd take the safe route and start with the ugly minis first. This old Chaos Dwarf seemed like a good fit for a necromancer's lackey/henchman:

Next up are a few of the old ME series Dunharrow guys working up to a largish batch of Kev Adams zombies. The newer plastic zombies just blow goats compared to these. ;D

Those Dunharrow guys remind me of the Thrall from the Myth computer games. Neat!
