Tank Companies: Two full companies build from various E40k era Leman Russ including a Vanquisher Command Tank for each company.




These extra models can stand replace normal Leman Russ tanks if a Commissar is on board.


A squadron of Demolisher and one of Destructors provides a bit of variety.

Hellhound Company: I don't know why anybody would want a company of these but there they are...


Super Heavy Tank Companies: I have one unpainted Shadowsword left which will bring this to two full companies.

Artillery Company: A full strength company of Basilisks.


The Basilisks can be swapped for Bombards


or for Manticores


Deathstrike Battery: Two little launcher with BIG rockets... Love em


AA Company: The Hydras are a mix of E40k (which I like) and FW (which I find too flimsy).

Inquisitorial Support: I modeled the Stormtrooper on the Witch Hunter inquisitorial troops to distinguish them a bit from the grey scheme of the regular guard.



The Vultures follow the same paint scheme to tie in with the Valkyries


Air Support: Thunderbolts and Marauder Bomber for air coverage.

And finally the objectives for the Guard army. A bunker complex, an AA emplacement and a crashed Valkyrie for the Stormtrooper to rescue. Because he didn't fit anywhere else I have also included my paint scheme tester Knight with a converted hammer arm (from a Stompa) - the plastic mini as missing an arm. Not too impressed by the paint scheme but then I don't have any other knights right now anyhow.
