While I love my giant fighting robots I am liking the idea of flying large WE somewhat appealing. I will have to post up my idea of a warp palace when I get home tonight. It's nothing spectacular but just made from some 40k gubbins but might inspire others to greater achievements.

Suns of Damnation are in the Appendix.

The point costs for the Spires and revised Palace are wide open.  They are just a ballpark guess to start.  There was a disconnect on the points when comparing via scaling up from existing units and cross-army comparisons (like a Reaver to the Palace).  Most likely that means there is some sort of revision in order.

EDIT:  As a matter of fact, just call the Palace 550 points.

Roughly -

Magnus (unknowingly) did a deal with tzeentch to stop the TS original mutations. They were degenerating into spawn - this happens again at the end and I imagine will lead to the rubric.

Magnus eventual role was to sit on the golden throne and use his psychic power there

TS are divided into 4? groups which each have a psychic speciality - fire/healing/premonition etc. Haven't got the names to hand.

At the end there are just over a 1000 TS on the planet of the sorcerers. All TS are psykers - so it will be interesting to see how the rubric is redone as IIRC it 'dusts' all non-psyker TS and how the small numbers are resolved.

TS don't like using weapons - prefer to use psychic powers

They appear to escape with no vehicles so perhaps low numbers of those? Also I don't think there is any mention of the using terminators.

It's a very good book too.

Also there are the Sekhmet. Seems to be Ahrimans personal bodyguard.
And they have some warp creatures they call Tutelaries. They are used to amplify their psychic powers (but with too powerful sorcery they can threaten to overcome their masters).

Interesting bit: One of the Pyrae "possessed" a Warlord Titan. Instead of using the Titan's weapons he hurled balls of fire toward the enemy.
